Crocheting ... it soothes me.
It's to everyone's advantage that I have some yarn or thread and a hook at all times.
I can say without hesitation, that I can be calm in the midst of complete confusion, as long as I don't run out of yarn and don't lose my hooks.
I am truly addicted. I think about it all the time. Everything I see, I wonder if I can make it in yarn? Every birth, every celebration, every event, is a reason to crochet. Even a nice shopping bag is a potential project bag. Hot Topic bags and bookstore bags are the best for this.
Yup, I really am addicted ... to the yarn; to the hooks; to the patterns; to the whole process.
And my family, my friends & the internet are my enablers. Family & friends keep me well-supplied. Thanx Family & Friends. The internet gives me access to some of the best designers in the business.

It's an addiction that isn't immoral, illegal or fattening. Finally ... an addiction that I don't have to hide; that won't get me arrested; that won't kill me; that injures no one ... finally.
